This website was created as a class project for course ANT 131: Introduction to Evolution, Fall Semester 1998, 2001, Dept. of Anthropology, Syracuse University. Its goal is to make the science behind evolution more accessible to everyone. The next few pages will present a simple narrative that describes basic concepts in evolutionary theory through diagrams and examples from nature. It will explain why evolution is not just a theory, but also a fact of nature.
