Privacy Policy

You can use Reading Evolution without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, and we never collect passwords, payment details, or government IDs. What we do collect is limited to:

• Usage analytics. How the app is used - pages viewed, questions answered, lessons started and completed, and general interaction events - so we can see where learners get stuck and improve the coaching.
• Session recordings. We may record anonymised playbacks of on-screen interactions (clicks and navigation) to understand confusing moments. Text you type is masked by default and is not captured.
• Technical data. Standard information your browser sends - device and browser type, approximate region, and a randomly generated identifier - collected by our analytics provider.
• Your progress. Your practice progress and preferences (such as theme and text size) are stored in your browser and may be synced to our database so they persist across visits.

Only to run and improve the app: to save your progress, understand how the coaching is working, fix problems, and decide what to build next. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• PostHog - product analytics and session replay.
• Supabase - stores your saved progress.
• Vercel - hosts the app and keeps standard server logs.

We share data with these providers only to the extent needed to run the service. We may also disclose data if required by law.

The app uses your browser’s local storage to remember your settings and progress, and our analytics provider uses cookies or similar identifiers to recognise a returning session. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

• You can browse with a browser or extension that blocks analytics; the app is designed to work with analytics disabled.
• You can clear your local data and stored progress at any time via your browser.
• You can ask us to access or delete data associated with your device by emailing abubakrtolibov11@gmail.com.

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we’ll honour applicable requests.

We keep analytics and progress data only as long as it’s useful for the purposes above, and we remove it when it’s no longer needed or on a valid deletion request.

Reading Evolution is intended for people preparing for the IELTS exam and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
